The water feature at Belfast City Hall was completed in August 2009. As shown in the photographs and design drawings below, the feature is a traditional ring fountain with nozzles directing the water into the centre of a circular pool.

The key elements of the water feature are:

• A 5.5m diameter 2" stainless steel ring manifold supplied in four quarter sections joined together on site to complete the full ring.
• A pump located in a nearby plant room that supplies the water to the ring via underground pipework.
• Sixty 3/8" jet nozzles positioned evenly along the ring manifold angled to create a water arch effect.
• Sixteen underwater LED spotlights spread sparingly over the pool bed to illuminate the feature at night.
• A comprehensive water treatment system that ensures the water is kept fresh and clear of any grime.
• A top up system controlled by level sensoring equipment that ensures the water is maintained at the desired depth.
• A user friendly control panel located in the plant room that allows direct control of the water feature pumps, top-up system and lighting.
