Ritchie MacKenzie are pleased to have been awarded the service contract for the Penguin Enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo.

Ritchie MacKenzie have been brought in to maintain the pumping system that controls the water supply to the main penguin pool and the wash down jets that are used to clean the penguins.

It is crucial to keep the system running efficiently in the task of preserving the cleanliness of the water. This has a direct affect on the health of the penguins and the water clarity for the purpose of the public viewing areas.

The system involves an intricate arrangement of filters, pumps and water treatment that Ritmac assess during regular service visits.
